Too many words make the grid crowded and hard to read. Too few make it too easy. As a rule of thumb, use about one word for every 7–10 cells of grid area.

What Is a Word Search Puzzle?
A word search puzzle (also called a word find, word seek, or word sleuth) is a word game where letters are arranged in a rectangular grid. A list of hidden words accompanies the grid, and the goal is to locate each word within the jumble of letters.
Words can be hidden horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, and may read forwards or backwards. The remaining letter spaces are filled with random letters to disguise the hidden words.
